Version 1.08 Update on June 8th
Greetings Captains!
The game will undergo maintenance at 01:20 June. 8th, 2015 (PDT, server time). The maintenance is estimated to take about 2 hours.
Below is the update list:
Updates:
1. Added a Base Overview Panel
Click it to see an overview of your base, including all base buildings, resources and events.
2. Added a Battle Calculation Feature
The battle info button will be displayed on the battle calculation panel after a PVP battle ends. Click the button to view battle info:
1) Damage output on both sides.
2) Damage taken by both sides.
3. Added Expansion Items
1. Added three kinds of permanent expansion items to increase storage: metal, crystal and synergen.
2. Use an expansion item to increase the limit by 20,000.
4. Discard Recourses
Upon reaching Lv.21 and completing the mission, Unload Resources, the button “Discard” will appear in the starship interface, allowing a ship to discard resources. You can only discard crystals and metals. The discarded resources will become Wreckage.
5. Added a new type of shop – Equipment Shop
Added an equipment shop. Items in the equipment shop includetorpedoes, engines, shields and armor.
Equipment shards can be used to buy these items. Equipment shards can be obtained from exploration events.
6. Added Isolinear Chip System
1) The isolinear chip system unlocks at Lv.20.
2) There are 5 kinds of chips:
i. Laser Chip: Increase ATK.
ii. Armor Chip: Increase DEF.
iii. Shield Chip: Increase shield points.
iv. Aiming Chip: Increase hit.
v. Crit Chip: Increase crit points.
3) Chips have five colors: green, blue, purple, orange and red. Green chips are Lv.1-2 chips; blue are Lv.3-4 chips; purple are Lv.5-6 chips; orange are Lv.7-8 chips and red are Lv.9 and above chips.
4) Chips can be inserted, removed, upgraded and resolved.
5) Each piece of equipment has 5 insertion slots. Up to 5 chips can be inserted into each piece of equipment. Only one chip of the same type can be placed.
6) The first slot of each equipment is unlocked as a default. The remaining slots can be unlocked when the equipment is enhanced to a relevant level. Chips cannot be inserted into locked slots.
7) Chip fragments are required to upgrade chips. Chip fragments are divided into green, blue and orange. They provide different chip EXP.
8) Resolve a chip to obtain green chip essences.
9) The Chip Lab’s level decides the top level that a chip can be upgraded to.
7. Trial (Available on server 1 only)
1. Upon reaching Lv.30, players can join the Trial. Ships will be used in the Trial, but their durability will not drop after each battle.
2. The fleet in the battle formation will battle first. When the whole fleet is destroyed, the Standby Fleet will join the fight. If all fleets are destroyed, then you lose the battle. You win if you defeat all enemies. After clearing each stage, you will receive a random reward. If you clear a stage for the first time, you will receive a first clearance reward.
3. Players’ challenge progress and highest record will be saved so that they can continue the battle from where they have stopped.
4. Players can change their fleet deployment and buy battle buffs in the trial interface.
a) Spend 5,000 Crystals to have a 20% chance for a combat power +10% buff, a 60% chance for a combat power +5% buff, and a 20% chance for a combat power +2% buff.
b) Spend 20 Credit points to have a 100% chance for a combat power +10% buff.
c) The buff will be effective in the next trial battle.
d) The combat power buff can increase a ship’s Attack, Defense and Armor.
5. Players can consume reset attempts or Credit points to reset their stage progress to the most recent record stage (the record stages are: stage 1, 11, 21, 31…).
6. Players can consume sweep books to advance their stage progress by 10 stages at once to claim the rewards from these 10 stages. The advanced stage cannot exceed the player’s highest clearance record.
7. Trials have 3 difficulty levels, each with 80 floors and 3 waves of enemies. The challenge mode is the same with the elite level. Clearing every 5 floors for the first time can earn you chip rewards. Clearing every 10 floors for the first time can earn you better chips. Clear the rest floors for the first time to receive chip essences.
8. Random Chips and ChipFragments will be dropped in the trial level.
Balance,Optimization, and Improvements:
1.Balanced building construction resources:
Balanced and increased the resources for upgrading buildings in the middle phase, and reduced the upgrade resources in the later phase. The total required resources are increased slightly.
2.Balanced resource drops:
a. Changed the crystal drop rate of the first 40 elite stages to 80%.
b. Changed the percent of the crystal and metal received from detection to 80%.
3. Optimized icons:
a. The GUI icons are divided into 2 rows according to their functions.
b. When the function is enabled, players will find ananimationflying to the top in the screen.
c. Special effects are set by default for the first unlock.
4.VIP Request Optimized:
Deuterium request now has a VIP level restriction
1. Non-VIP players can request once.
2. VIP players can request twice.
3. VIP1-10 can have 2 more requests with every VIP level increase.
5. Optimized exploration:
a. The exploration spots will be refreshed every hour in the fluidic system level.
b. Changed rewards to Equipment Shards.
6. Improved Crate opening graphics.
7. Optimized special effects of battles:
1. Added a button to disable special effects.
8. Optimized colony resource collection rules.
1 Click a colony to collect resources when resources don’t reach the limit. All the collectable resources can be collected at a time and resource cap can be exceeded.
2. Players cannot continue to collect resources from colonies when the resources exceed the limit.
9. Optimized bag expansion.
1. After the bag is full, the send page will be added automatically.
10. Optimized the front-end display of events.
1. Added an hour display to events.
11. Balanced various figures.
1. Adjusted the required completion attempts, points received, and completion attempts allowed for the point event.
2. The capacity of Crystal and Metal Storages are slightly decreased after Lv.32. The capacity of the Deuterium Tank is decreased by 5,000.
3. Increased Creatures’ Attack, HP, and Shield by 10% in the normal level sector 6 or above, elite level 6-15 or above, sector 6 or above detection, and sector 6 or above exploration.
4. Increased max starship technology level by 50, and max terraforming level by 30.
5. Optimized technological effects: The improved effect of the Light Hull and Neutronium Hull is decreased by 0.2% after upgrade. The improved effect of the Engine Tech, RCS, Heavy Hull, Medium Hull, Impulse Drive, Impulse Drive, Polaron Armor, Ablative Armor, Deflector Shield, and Multiphasic Shield is decreased by 0.4%. The improved effect of the Fluidic Deflection, Cargo Renovation, and Regenerative Shield of starship power is decreased by 0.6%.
6. Optimized and changed the tech upgrade cost.
7. Increased HP and Shield of satellites built by colonies by 50% - 200%.
12. New Crates.
Added Crate chips and items to obtain chips.
13. Adjusted the display of the colony UI rules.
1. A small planetoid (that unlocks when the required level is met) icon will be displayed when players don’t reach the required tech level.
14. Optimized bosses.
1. Boss’s HP and Defense are increased.
2 The initial queue of the Boss Battle is reduced to 1.
3.The big icon will disappear as soon as the boss is killed.
4. The duration of the Boss Battle is reduced to 1 hour.
Bug Fixes:
1、Fixed the problem that there is no notice information in notices.
2、Fixed the problem that players could still be attacked after using cloaking items.
3、Fixed the problem that skills could not be used after skill CD has ended.
4、Fixed the problem that the starship got stuck when attacking enemies.
5、Fixed report errors when a ship joined to battle in the process of combat.
6、Fixed the problem that there were no notices when scrolling the screen.
7、Fixed the problem that the player’s detected combat power didn’t correspond to the player’s actual combat power.
8、Fixed the problem that it was unable to upgrade technology when upgrade requirements have been reached.

26、Fixed the problem that when a ship’s HP was higher than its max HP, the ship could still be repaired and received metals.
27、 Fixed the rewarding problem that the Federation could receive 1-3 shards but the Klingons only received 1 shard after the boss is killed.
28、Fixed the friend function:
a. Players can now add friends when players are logged out.
b. After adding a friend, players can view detailed info.
